Joyful

Happy Holidays from Albuquerque, New Mexico!

An instagram re-cap from this past week...

1. Tiles outside my sister's new home.
2. A glass ornament I made for Mama a few years back.
3. We found Santa while on a day trip to Madrid.
4. Glass gravel. One day when I own my driveway...
5. Visiting the Georgia O'Keeffe museum in Santa Fe.
6. Turquoise and silver. Everywhere!
7. The best gift. Mama drew this baby self portrait when she was my age. I've always loved it.

Tomorrow we are heading back to our Appalachian mountains.
So excited to bring in the New Year! I have a good feeling about 2013.

busy times.

The holiday season has been incredibly busy this year. In addition to the usual influx of gift orders, I have been preparing for a Fab.com sale! It will go live shortly after Christmas and include a new glass cluster ring - cobalt blue, along with a few other variations that I haven't sold before.
So excited!

In the meantime - tomorrow is the LAST DAY for placing Christmas orders.
Head over to the SHOP and use coupon code SHIPFREE for free shipping!

ready for winter.

I have been waking up much earlier than usual.
Our backyard is magical at 7am. Foggy mountain air and dew covered roses.

<<< BIZARRE MARKET >>>

On Friday I am dropping off a bunch of Urban - Revisions jewelry with the Bizarre Market in Richmond, VA. I highly suggest all you Richmond folk stop by Chop Suey! Lots of great artists included in this one...

Community : An Artist Collective

I have been watching the ladies behind Willow Knows and Academy Jewelry hard at work over the last few months via instagram. The Community pop-up shop is their collective effort in creating a space to share and celebrate gorgeous handmade design.

I just sent some UR glass pieces to their Charlottesville, VA location for the month of December.
SO thrilled to be part of this dreamy space!

thanks New York!

The Renegade Craft Fair did not disappoint!

I will definitely be traveling to more shows in other cities.
My hanging glass vases were a hit. I've got to get in the studio and make a bunch more asap!

Next up - The Big Crafty in Asheville on Dec. 2nd.

RENEGADE prep >>>

On Friday we are heading to Brooklyn for the Renegade Holiday Market!

I have been working non-stop stock piling shredded scarves and jewelry.
Really excited about the hanging glass tubes - my plan is to put a white flower in each.

The photo of cluster rings is actually a pile of imperfections in my studio. All wearable, but old and strangely shaped. It's cool to realize how much better I am at making the bands now.
I found the first glass ring I ever made and I gotta say, it is sooo ugly/funny looking!

Girls on a mountain.

Last week I visited Max Patch with some of my favorite girlfriends.
It has a stunning 360-degree view that these pictures don't do justice!

On a clear day you will see completely across most of eastern Tennessee, the Great Smoky Mountains, the Black Mountains, Craggy Mountains, Pisgah Ledge, the Newfound Mountains of Haywood County, and Walnut Mountains of Madison County.

We took advantage of our time up there posing like yogis and being silly while wearing Urban Revisions scarves. Completely unplanned, everyone showed up at my house wearing black leggings that day...
